The European Green Deal at the JRC Ispra site
We are proud of the Commission’s commitment to promoting a sustainable way of life and to reaching carbon neutrality by 2050 in all Member States. We are proud that we will walk the talk and that we will contribute to reach carbon neutrality for the European Commission already by 2030. Greening the Commission communication is the tool that will implement this policy. How this will be done is still unclear, but we already know that R&D will be the watchdog to make sure that we shall reach this ambitious goal.
